Art at Saint Margaret of Scotland

Terry Barber, our executive director, has joined the “Art at Saint Margaret of Scotland” program in St. Louis, Mo. The program helps children K-5th grade to connect with the masters of visual art.  Additionally, Terry has put together a list of musical examples, in many cases contemporaries of the master artists from their geographical region, to help the children connect even more.

The Cotter’s Music Salon Series

A series of private events hosted by Tim & Maureen Cotter, avid supporters of Artists for a Cause.  Each event showcased the best up-and-coming performing artists in the A4AC network for an intimate crowd of arts supporters and industry professionals. Attendees were treated to an inspirational performance, and then invited to get to know the young artists over refreshments. Event proceeds support the programs of A4AC, which support artists as they use their talent to meet the critical needs of communities.

Hope For Freedom Benefit Performance

March 28 - 7:00 p.m.
Southfork High School Auditorium


Each year The A4AC Club at Southfork takes on the issue of human trafficking.

They sell visual art, and organize a performance of professional and student dancers, singers, and poets to raise both funds and awareness.

SafeSpace - Every Woman is My Sister

March 21,
6:00 p.m.


Mikaela Danchenko, member of the Southfork High School A4AC Club performed in support of SafeSpace's annual Every Woman is My Sister event, their signature fundraiser, on March 21, 6 p.m. at Willoughby Golf Club in Stuart. This year’s honored guests were keynote speaker Denise Brown, as well as honorary chairs and former NFL players Rich Campbell and Charles Emanuel. The event was a celebration of SafeSpace’s successes in helping victims of domestic violence become survivors. We love when our young artists are able to support important causes such as this one. Bravo!
